interesting behavior

i was watchin my discus today and i saw my 2 blue diamonds chasing one another. before it all started they were a kinda light color. then they started the chasing. the one doing the chasing was dark. the one being chased was light. whats that mean?

i know the chasing is a good thing to see in the tank. but why the different colors. and i always though the one being chased was the one to be darker.

its the 2 smallest and almost the newest discus i have in the tank. they both came from the same place. they both are blue diamond discus.

i just thought it was weird that the one doing the chasing was the dark one. and the one gettin chased was light in color. i always thought it was the other way around.

Getting randy or just peed at the unwanted attention. Discus are cichlids and sometikes they let you know it...
