My new discus seem really spooky. They darted into the tank walls quite fast and hard a couple of times. Is this normal? They hit the walls hard enough that I could here the thuds. Do they settle in quickly or does it take long. I have 8 new 3" juvies in a 90 gallon. They have only been in the tank for a day now, maybe I just worry too much but I don`t want them stressed out. Should I just wait it out and stop worrying? or is there anything I can do to get them to stop.

mine did thesame thing when i first recived them from kenny. i kept them in a bare 55 and they got use to me a bit but i find it that theyre alot more comfortable when they have places to hide. after i moved mine from the 55 to the 75 well planted with driftwood they stop darting. try giving them some hiding space to feel more secure
