Hey guys!
im going up to calgary next sunday to pick up some new discus from a breeder!.
Im just setting up a Quarantine tank aswell. They discus arent going to be very big at all, so should a 10-15g be good for a few days or so?

They'll be fine. Some people will disagree, in my opinion if you are doing large water changes everyday you don't need an established tank. By the time you slow down with water changes they tank will have long since been cycled.

Shoot for 75% to be on the safe side. In a 10 - 15G there's really no reason why you shouldn't be doing 90% + water changes. I know people who still do 100% water changes everyday and their fish just lay flat at the bottom of the tank while they fill it back up. You have to cut power to the heaters of course.

For a few days or so... no problem. Sufficient water changes as suggested is important.
Best of luck and enjoy!
listen very carefully..
in a tank that SMALL, with that is NOT cycled.. you better be changing water EVERY DAY..
and you better get an AMMONIA tester.. because water will be clear and your fish will be dead..
just a little FYI>.
ps, no.. tank would take like 6 weeks to cycle properly..

You should be a pro by now. Have you taken a break?
