Ladies, check this out It's from Wikipedia. It's on the internet so it must be true: Mating behavior in Phasmatodea is impressive because of the extraordinarily long duration of pairings. A record among insects, the stick insect Necroscia sparaxes, found in India, is sometimes coupled for 79 days at a time. It is not uncommon for this species to assume the mating posture for days or weeks on end, and among some species (Diapheromera veliei Walsh and D. Covilleae), pairing has been observed to last 3-136 hours in captivity.

*Geat phots's btw, photography is an art I will never master ;(
If I could just figure out what lense to get for my camera...........

My guy is a hortoculturist. He'd have never allowed us to fall in to poison oak. It was one of the most free things I have ever done. But if ithe time is right it's right, and to hell with poison oak.

Bringing back some pretty fond memories of a passionate night spent in the great outdoors and under the stars when I was a much younger guy.
I only wish there would have been someone else there with me to experience it too.
