Christmas for Jeff

I'd like DiscusLoverJeff to have a female Penang Eruption for Christmas. If you've seen his thread, you know he got screwed on the purchase of a pair from an apparently unscrupulous member and lost the femalen due to cold pour shipping. I'm proposing we give Jeff a second Christmas and get Kenny's best guess at a female Penang Eruption on his next shipment. I'm in for whatever, anyone care to join me?

Bugs me too it was someone who was a member here too that sold him the fish. Many of us here have our faults on the forum, but this behavior deserves a special place in :fish: :flame:.

Are you kidding, and ruin the possibility of that. Kenny will definitely have seen my PM and this thread by the time Jeff calls him. I'd be VERY surprised though if Jeff isn't on-line here and sees this before he calls Kenny. With the two hour time difference it'll be after 2:00 PM here before he calls him, and I just don't see Jeff not logging in by then. Once we decide for sure whether we're going the Kenny of Josie direction, we can get more concrete info on here.

I can't believe you all are doing this and Keith, you started this thread so I will first and foremost thank you! Josie, ty for the opportunity. Pat, thank you for your part in this as well.

Everyone, there is no need to do this as I have lost fish before, but never have I ever been around so many nice people before. I would really like to contribute because well, I feel bad that you all are doing this especially around the holiday. Your families come first. After the first of year I can talk with Josie.

To all my Discus friends,

I know I thanked you all before, but I can't help but feel that I will never be able to fully thank you enough. Even with the holidays fastly approaching, you all have been so kind as to come to the aid of a fellow discus lover.

One day I was like a kid in a candy store when my PE pair arrived and in just minutes I was on this forum asking for help to save them. I never met a nicer group of people like I have in this forum. I mentioned before it is truly like having a family and not a bunch of strangers.

I try and read the boards daily and offer help if I can or just simply share my thoughts. I see new posts all the time and most within seconds, someone is responding. I would say its like dialing 911 around here; you post and immediately there is someone to the aid of a discus lover. You all are truly an amazing group of people who I can say I can call friends.

This is a prime example of why I LOVE Simply.

I think I actually spend more time with Simply and my discus than I do with my family. Not sure if that's a good thing. :confused:

Regardless, no matter what time of year it is, the simply family pulls through.

Off subject...........I'm cleaning my breeder tanks and my stendker fire reds have been sitting on eggs for about 30 hours now when I got to their tank I used a tiny syphon just to crab some loose food on the bottom no where near the cone and the male went crazy and head bumped my hand so hard it's funny I never had a pair that the male was so aggressive. how am I going to clean that tank?.........Josie

We have this thin foam padding we use here at work for packing sensitive equipment and it comes in 36" or 48" sheet rolls. I use that for my tanks.
