Mixing discus question?????

i was wondering would it be ok if i mixed 2 different groups of discus together... Lets say a 6 month batch and a 3 month batch together???

i was wondering would it be ok if i mixed 2 different groups of discus together... Lets say a 6 month batch and a 3 month batch together???I've done it before when I've had to but I would not recommend doing it. What usually happens is the bigger discus out compete the smaller ones for food and they drop behind.

It's not a good idea for several reasons and most experienced discus keepers don't.
