This thread is in regards to the "packed like Sardines" Thread.http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?92747-I-think-they-are-packed-like-sardines/page4

EEEK! Squeel with delite. I am about to completely contradict myself. (But then again, women tend to do these things.) I am preparing for a water change and a second pair just laid a huge batch of eggs! How can I change the water?? I don't want them to hatch ; but, I dont want to kill them either. Do I just wait until tomorrow? Just tested water an hour ago (TDS 270, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, phosphate 0, nitrate 10, pH7.2, KH 5, GH 7). The top most eggs are about half way up the tank. I always change 80%. Am I going to mess everything up if I change the water?

Ok. Now I am calmer. I am sure they will be gone by the morning. I will change the water in the pm, I guess.

To my surprise, they are still there. And still have good color. I have to read up on this. I skipped all the reproductive stuff when I was researching discus.

Yes it is. I didn't turn it off in the excitement. That's the nightlight for my fish. I do like it since it helps to keep the particles suspended so they move to the overflow box.
:o I know it looks a bit tacky.
