I am picking up my new tank on Thursday. It measures 60''L x 26''H x 18''W with a 30 gallon sump. I have two Jager 300 watt heaters that I plan on using. My question is this...Can I put one heater in the overflow and one in the sump to keep them hidden? Do you see any problems with this? Should I just use an In-line heater?

I have both my heaters in my sump. But you are using Jager 300 watt heaters which are 17" or 15" long I believe. If you can get them both in your sump that is what I would do. I have a 30 gallon sump also and the Jager 300 watt heaters were way to long for my sump. I started using titanium heaters and they are a lot shorter.

I have a 240 gal. with a 55 gal. sump. 2- 250 watt Jagers in the sump have kept my wilds tank a cozy 84 to 87F for several years.
