Any good place to visit in Chicago?

Not in my opinion and I live here. I think it's crazy that a city this large does not have a quality discus importer/supplier. There are three guys I know that import discus, but I've seen their stock. It does not compare to what you can get from most of our sponsors.

I gave a talk there once in winter. While I am not one to get cold it was something like -500 and had snow 4 foot deep.....

The Shedd is a good time,tho the only discus they have are in the anaconda tank.Two museums,Science and Industry is only a few miles away,and Natural History is actually walking distance,right across from Shedd,but it can be a cold walk with the wind off the lake.-500 so I've heard.

Chicago is a great city, there is so much to do here. you can go Downtown we have world class Museums. The dinning in Chicago is second to none the food is great here lots to choose from. Navy Pier is wonderful shops,food lots of entertainment. The people are very friendly downtown. you can go to see a play, Ballet,symphony or just walk around the lake front lots of cool bars and pubs to hang out in.

It's warm in Illinois right now, unbelievable.Tell me about it.Were usally talking about winter lay-off around now,and were still working.I deliver roofing supplies with a crane,and the crews are still going,so are we.

IMO, yes. but expect to be disapointed in the Discus.As I posted earlier,one tank,and it's the anaconda.Over-all,I like the Shedd,always have.Get there pretty much once a year,the Friday before Martin Luther King,school schedule,our school district was off,that following Monday,all districts off.
