Hey guys, I was looking to buy between 15-30 Albino Plat/BD, and I was wondering if there was a breeder who specializes or is known for breeding this type. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the answer to your question but get ready to drop a pretty penny for those guys.

I don't know either as far as superior quality but I think Kenny and Mike Beals both sell/import them.. I've dealt with Mike Beals before and have several of his fish. I have Kenny's fish through a third party and they were very nice. I've contacted Kenny before and he's very responsive and quick with getting back to you.

Both have a solid reputation among the members here and are sponsors.

Maybe you could buy half your order from each seller. They're importers.

I know Sabres1 breeds albinos (among some others) but I don't know if he breeds the kind you're looking for.

FYI albino platinum/abd may go for US $150 for 3.5ins...........getting 15-30 pieces that's a lot of cash unless you only want 2 ins & under.........very seldom sponsors here has 2 ins discus for sale. .......my 2 cents.

Kenny Cheung or Mike Beals sells it. If you can afford it go for it.

This could lead to disaster.......I would think twice before doing that.

proper quarantine should work even from two sources .

Plus two shippings.
Get all from one person. They are hard to source with good shape.
And costly as stated.

I haven't seen any high quality ones out there most Albino have poor shape like a football. The best Albinos I seen so far are the one's Kenny just posted as show fish the rest are like I said having poor body shape.

Yes, those fish are amazing if you can afford them.

football shape is really terrible to look at that's why I only buy a high-body or egg shape.

Correct me if i am wrong, AAA quality doesn't always produce AAA quality fry. In the early 2000 I purchase a breeding pair of AAA quality Angel Blue Diamond F1 (Cross between Blue Diamond and Ghost) a light blue version of BD, so i was told, lol. Happy as hell when they spawned. But almost 90% were throw back fry of blue turq and 10% were just reg. BD.
