My first Discus

I am newly inducted into the dicus fish world. I have 6 fish for the past 4 months and just love them. Some eat frm my hands and even allow me to pet them.

Yes those are my exact fish. Cropped the images. The ones with the full tank are large as I have a 4 foot tank

Yesteday I found eggs on one of the cones placed in the tank. The Red melon was fanning them and the dad seemed like the Cobalt....by morning... (sad) they were gone... maybe eaten up by another one.

Two Questions:
1. What kind of babies will a Melon and Cobalt produce?
2. I do not want to separate the fish to another tank. Is there any way I can make the fry happen in the common tank?
