Seems that I may have at least one pair....so far I only have a confirmed female and possible male. The good news is the possible male isn't eating the eggs right away. Of course they don't have much of a chance in the community tank.

Forgot to mention female is a Brilliant Turquoise and possible male is a Cobalt.

You could screen it just to see if they are fertilized. That is what I did in my planted tank.

Well my Cobalt is making runs every so often and don't see eggs coming out. So that leads me to believe its a male but not confirmed yet. If the eggs make it then great....if not oh well. They are still young so don't really want them raising fry yet anyway. They may however get thier own tank.

If they get it on the 3rd time then you're doing better than some of my new pairs! LOL

Sounds like it's time for that new tank! ;)

Well the eggs were gone this morning. Didn't think they would make it. However they did last longer than the first couple times. I may in the future put them in a 29 to see if they get wigglers but really I want them to get bigger first. The Cobalt is about 6 inchs and the Brilliant is about 5. So they are still young.
