Cardinal (Neon) Tetras

Over the past 2 years my colony of tetras has twindled down to 2 (from 30). I was wondering who might be a good supplier at a reasonable price due to the fact I am out of work soon after 26 years (thats another story of downsizing).

My tank is a 95 gal wave, planted with 9 - 6" plus discus. The schooling was an awesome sight to see especially at feeding time.

Let me know who sells them (besides Petco, Petsmart etc....)

Cardinal tetras are a different fish from Neon tetras. Cardinals come from the same general area that discus come from and thus do well with discus-type environment and care conditions. Neons are from a different part of the world and in fact will die off when kept in the temps that are comfortable for discus [82+ degrees]. I wonder which you had?

Check with snookn21, i've seen him list them on aquabid. I've also heard that Hans sometimes has them. The only problem is it's hard to order from them without adding a discus to the order.

I have not seem John (snookn21) list any cardinals on aquabid lately. Hans may be the best bet ATM.

Wow those endlers look super tiny compared to the discus...its like a Godzilla movie LOL.
