Hi new guy looking to talk about discus I love discus me an my wife started with two now I have three tank an two breeders lol I live in Richmond va an I have gotten into discus hard I have three discus tank an have a 125 that I haven't set up yet I have started dreeding an are looking for pointers an sum help

going on 2 years...

thats how i discus simply.. i would google and then add the ending.. SD had the most information.. so i joined :)

no breeding for me.. no room :)

Well I'm warming up as this being sum extra money I got two pair now looking to get atleast 8 more I got the room an the time just trying to spend money in the right way I got my tanks an are getting more I got everything I need just doing it right I like to no what other people have done an I take all that on an try my own stuff

I wouldn't look at it as a money making venture.

It could be a lot of fun though. And if you are good at it especially the growing out part, you could recoup some of your money.

A more realistic plan would be to shop around for a real sought after type of discus and get a pair and work with those.

For 600-1000 bucks you could get a nice confirmed pair.

Go for it :)
