The discus will be moving into a 150 gallon in about 3-4 months.
Looks great but It looks like you don't have the top covered. They jump out.

It has that white egg crate at the top. You just can't see it in the pic.
Glad to hear. I do like the look of the plants and wood. Will be looking forward to seeing what you do with the 150.

Do the three discus hiding in the corner do that most of the time? That is a serious amount of light, even with two bulbs. Notice how they are hiding in the shade?

Actually they are out most of the the time. I just changed the setup today so they are still getting used to the new tank. They have been in this tank with this light for a good while with out issue.

Oh this is going to be a fun thread to watch aXio!!!!!! So far so good, I wish I had room for a 150 I am terribly envious lol. Julia:)
i like the simplicity and the arrangement of the plants. and nice fish too! I wonder if you replace one of the 6700k with a "ColorMax" tube that usually comes with the light fixture, it would bring our more colors in your discus.

Ya I was think about picking up those exact bulbs from work today. Keep in mind tho that the picture above taken the day the tank went from planted to bare bottom so the discus were a bit stressed. Also they aren't the best quality phone pictures. I should be using my slr... shrug.
The only discus in the tank that is actually mine is the Fire Red. I got him from an auction a few years back. I think it's either from chad or bugman. The other 3 are from my store. I'm holding them until my systems at work are ready. Which the are actually all set now and I'm getting my first Discus Hans order in this Wednesday. I'm excited! So the 3 other discus will be going back this Wednesday as well.
Here are a few newer low quality phone pictures...
