Just seeing what might be the best thing to set up two 75 gallon tanks. Are the metal one ok that you can get at like pet warehouse or is it better to just make one? Im just more worried that when I look at the metal ones that they might tip over. Thanks for any info you guys can give me!

I was wondering about the dual metal stand too. but I cannot find one so I decided to make one out of 2x4 pine wood. works fine for almost a year now.

I bought the one from Drs Foster and Smith for 2 15/20H tanks and it works great. I like it a lot. I am thinking about getting another, either the 55 or 75 double.

I made mine out of pine for less than what one of the metal ones cost and since it weighs a lot more I feel like it is more stable and less likely to tip.

Here's a good sketch for a pine stand that I made recently.
I found it online.
Hope it helps.

I had a dual 55g stand once. There was only about 4'-5" above the top of the bottom tank and the bottom of the top tier. It was difficult to maintain the bottom tank. HTH

I've been using the 55 gal double rack for the last year and they work great!
