Well I am going to put some pleco in my tank are gold nuggets and butterfly discus safe

Gold Nugget Plecos will work well with Discus. They can handle the high water temps and should never bother your Discus. Keep in mind they get about 8inches long.

Personally i wouldnt trust any plecs with discus. Just my thought but i dont trust them with the temptation.

I have mine with Zebra Plecos (L46). Zebras are carnivores, get to only 3" or so, and love the warm 84F water.

from what i have always read here.. is the Bristlenose is #1 advised pleco with discus.. not that others won't work.. but BN are what SD has promoted over the years..

all my discus was fine with a bn pleco......no issues. I wouldnt put a regular pleco though.

ps.. if you start seeing ROUND MARKS on side of discus.. your plecos are attacking your discus.. just a little FYI.. doesn't matter strain of PLECO..

my experience with small ancistrus (l213) is great, I have 6 in my discus tank. I feed so much that everyone has full bellies.

The more I look at it it looks like a bit from another discus so what do I do about violent discus
