Hi everybody,

Ive been surfing here for a while and love it. I did have a quick question on kinds of driftwood. I did a search and couldn't find the answer specifically. I am adding to my discus tank but was unsure if this kind of driftwood is discus tank safe. It's cedar and I will soak it.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

I would avoid cedar as it's a softwood. It seems that most people prefer hardwoods. Manzanita seems to be a favorite and depending on where you live you can go gather some.

Contact PC1 about manzanita. You won't be disappointed. It looks great and sinks quickly.

Bill,

That would be much better in my tank. You should send it to me forthwith.

:)

Bill-- the branch is really nice but your dog is the glossiest (is that a word?) dog I've seen. Wow, that dog looks soft. Anyway, I really like the branch, if you think about it post a pic when its in your tank here. Did it take long to get it? How did shipping go?

Riverbuna,
PC1 is Manzman (Rafael Mendoza) - Beaumont, California - nice stuff.

It took awhile, because of it had to come on Greyhound.I knew I'd be awhile getting the tank ready so it didnt matter to me.
