question about a grow out.

I will be getting 2.5 inch discus and i know i have to keep bb but i was wondering if i put gravel in it so that way it is not completely boring would it be okay for a grow out. This would also make it easier to add decor later after they obtain their size.

Just keep it simple, bare bottom, large daily water changes. If you want decoration put in a piece of manzanita.

With the multiple feedings,gravel just can hold to many nasties.After you've had it bb for awhile,youll see how much cr@p you vacuum up everyday.

Dont do the same mistake that I did few years back. Gravel looks great but stay away from it if you dont want to deal with diseases.
