Hello friends,

I thought I would share an exciting moment I captured when I got home from work this evening. Two pairs in my planted tank spawning within minutes of each other.

Right side of tank we have Tropical Red - Female, Albino Leopard intermediate F1(9-bar) - Male (4 males fighting for one female)

Left side of tank we have Tropical Red - Female, Altum Flora - Male

Even with breeding cones in the tank, they chose the front glass instead. Just happened one day before tank cleaning go figure.

Looks like mob sex on the right hand side. Fun times at Jeff's place tonight. :) You going to foam off both pairs? Great looking fish BTW

Yes , fun time indeed, ;) IMO They tend to choose the glass vice cones when they are in birgger groups I guess the figure they have less area to defend (fron the glass back only) vice 360 attacks around the cone.

I have to buy the foam. I was not expecting this as the only pair to spawn in 6 months I moved to a 20 gal last week. These two pairs have been dormant for awhile now. Go figure.
