I started my tank with six regular Danios who are doing really well for several weeks now. I added the Discuss tank mates yesterday. If all goes well tank should be ready for four inch Discus in 2 to 4 weeks. Danios are pretty common as starter fish. Does anyone keep them with their Discus? They are doing fine at temperatures of 82 to 83 degrees, but I am concerned about when I raise the temp to 85/86 for the Discus. I don't want to harm them. On the other hand are the Danios too active for 4 inch Discus? Should I remove them from tank before the Discus move in?
