View Full Version : 2 month Discus Fries Not Growing ?

i have 2 month old discus about 30-40 fries. i feed them beef heart(2 times a day). but they are not growing ,can anyone say how many times should i feed them.....PLz

well I think you mean fry, you need to change their water at least twice a day and feed no less than 6 times a day. Fries you need to put in vegetable oil or animal fat and they will shrink a little but they should be fine.........Josie

Feed them as often as possible while maintaining water quality, do not feed six times a day if your only able to do one daily water change.

Feeding 6-8 times a day is great, but WQ is much more important.

my fry grew pretty fast with 50-70% water changes at the end of everyday. Might have to do more than that if you feed them nothing but beefheart.

Mine stopped growing at about two months, then I upped water changes n fed bigger variety of food n they are getting bigger...might do the trick
