What temperature is your tank set to? I've never had Ich with my discus..and thats usually because the temperature is too high for Ich to survive well..or atleast thats what I have been told in the past

Heat is a very effective killer of Ich:

"It has been found that Ich does not infect new fish at 29.4°C/85°F (Johnson, 1976), stops reproducing at 30°C/86°F (Dr. Nick St. Erne, DVM, pers. comm.), and dies at 32°C/89.5°F (Meyer, 1984)"

High temps and copper are the nuclear bombs to ich and discus could care less about either treatment

Why are you not wanting to increase the heat?

We already answered that. Theres only a few ways of doing this. Use copper, increase heat, salt (may or may not work). So take your pick, but copper and heat are guaranteed
