MARINELAND WATER HEATER WARNING!

I just wanted to let everyone know who is not aware, but Marinland Stealth Heaters have been recalled. You can go to Marinelands web site for more information. People where reporting that there heaters where exploding or losing temp control. I noticed My Stealth heater was set at 84* but my temp in the tank was at 93*. I took the heater in and they gave me a new heater. PLEASE CHECK YOUR HEATERS I WOULD HATE TO HAVE ANYONE LOSE DISCUS OVER THIS MATTER!!

They are refunding your money or sending out new Visi-Therm heaters as replacements. I had 4 of the 200W Stealth heaters hanging in my storage barrel to quickly heat my water before it was pumped into my showtank. All of them are being replaced free of charge.

Petsmart was handling at one time, i would call them.

Go to your LFS and they should be able to take care of it for you.
