Peat moss

Hi,

I am going to put some new gravel peat in my aquarium but I do not like the tea-ish water color. Any tip to keep the water crystal clear even by using the peat moss? Any filter media i could use in the filter cartridge to keep the water clear?

Carbon

Carbon will remove tannis rendering peat addition pointless. You could use either cattapo leaves, black alder cones or peat in granules. It would also help if you put your peat into female stockings.
