Anyone bringing discus to the GCCA swap in April? Or have any discus to sell, exchange at the swap?
I think it's in Elk Grove.

Personally I'm still looking for some smaller size 2.5-3.5" discus.

I have a 5.5" high body turk, 2- 3" shooting stars, and maybe a couple larger shooting stars I most likely will be taking up.

I'll have to look for a pic of a shooting star never heard that one before

I work third shift (I'm at work right now) why is everyone else awake?

I won't have room for anymore discus (for now) but Josie my fire red and red scribbles are doing great, growing and eating well. Q..when do the fire reds turn 'red'? mine still looks orange. A really nice orange, but orange.
Thanks

I have some of the Fire reds from the same batch that I'm goring out that are really close to start turning red. when they start reaching 3"+ you start noticing the change

Good, I had been adding tetra bits to their diet and I thought that might be part of it but I stopped adding them about two weeks ago. My white butterfly and PB look much better without the orange overtones.

How does everyone here in Chicago measure their fish? Nose to tail, or nose to end of tailfin?

Sometimes I think my fish aren't growing fast enough when I look at the rates some people describe on this site. But feeding 5-7 times a day, 50% WC daily sometimes twice a day, and 86 degrees I think I'm doing enough.
Josie this Q is directed more at you since my reds and red scribbles came from you, how big should they be now reds__ red scribbles___

Thanks
as always
Dan
