Well I finally picked up some discus, they are young but I feel that I'm up for the challenge, they are around 1.5" in size. I picked them up from afishionados in winnipeg, whom recieved them from Danziger discus in Israel. I received them on saturday and they have settled in nicley, feeding around 6 times a day or more if I can, they were raised on strictly dry food, but i have offered them some frozen bloodworms a few times, also ordered some FDBW from Al. I have been doing 80% or more WC's per day. Very happy with the purchase so far, they are just starting to get there patterns/coloring on the edges of there fins. I would post some pics but the forum tells me I need 10 posts to do that.

Good luck with the new fish! Just bump this thread a few times to get your thread count up. Then post up those pics.

Good luck with them! Your methods should give you some results. Now its just up the fish. :)

Thanks Eddie, I also ordered some manzanita from Rapheal here on SD, it actually just came in today, waiting to get off work so I can go pick it up and start soaking it, then I can say good bye to the fake plants (fiance said the aquarium was to empty and needed some decoration, so I had to have something in there to keep her happy in the meantime :) )
