Wow Hans very nice proven pair in other words soon after you get them you will probably have fry all over LOL!!! Very good of you to do this for Al we all know he deserves it. If I had room I would bid in a heart beat but got fry everywhere from your pairs LOL.
These guys sell for $600 as a proven pair, than you have shipping, and Hans is paying for that also that is around $700 if you were to buy this pair, and the bid is only $525. Got to be some members sitting back and waiting to jump at the last min LOL;)!!!

I think the way to maximize the sale price is to have a one minute extension after the last high bid at closing time. So if people keep bidding at the close, the bidding stays open until there is a minute gap in the bidding after 12:00. This will help to increase the sale price. To let you know I work for a company that holds 150 auctions weekly and we added this feature a couple of years ago and it eliminated the last second hits with others not able to get their last bid in because of the closing time.

Ever thought about the amount of money (and number of Discus) changed hands because of/on this forum?? What Al is charging sponsor for it is just a fraction, just to keep this forum going.

Ok at 900 AM my time one of the pipes burst in my bathroom leaking water all over the place in the house bathroom and basement of course. didn't know it was leaking because i was in the fish room which is located in the front of my house in a sun room. About 930 a half hour later i heard the water leaking found the problem and shut of the main water supply to the house. called local very expensive plumber to come out and fix the problem at about 1020 AM his crew shows up and starts fixing the leak as I'm talking with them FedEx shows up with my Auction Discus. Thank god I finished preparing their tank this morning while the monster leak was going on so that wasn't an issue and the discus arrived great as always and they look much better than the photo:). Now while all this was going on My sons school called and I had to run out to pick him up because he wasn't feeling well ( he's fine at home no Temp. just a little stomach thing watching TV in his room and looks good). Now I have strangers running around my house, sick kid and new fish getting use to their surroundings. And I need to be at work in a couple of hours LOL..... It seems like work will be a break.............Josie .........P.S. Hell day...LOL..LOL..
