Advise on Feeding Please

O.K. I think I know what to feed them, however, I am confused on HOW MUCH to feed my 4 juvies at each feeding. I give them tetra bits in the am, fdbw in afternoon, fbs as a snack, ciclid chips in the evening. Just how many squares of fdbw should 4 juvinile discus get at one feeding? This answer will guide me on the rest. Thank you yet again for this valuable info!!!!

if you have food rotting at bottom of tank after 30.. your feeding too much..

if you have no food at bottom of tank after 30 min... you are feeding just enough..

THERE IS NO FOOD ROTTING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK....BUT.....COULD THAT MEAN IM NOT FEEDING ENOUGH? HOW MANY SQUARES OF FDBW WOULD YOU FEED 4 JUVIES AT ONE FEEDING?

Thanks......of course I have yet another question.....I've noticed that my 4month old discus (all four of them) are having trouble eating the fdbw that I bought through this web site. They seem to want them, but end up spitting most of it out. They don't do this with the other foods I give them. I understand that perhaps they need to chew them up to soften etc. but it seems like it is very difficult. I tried soaking them, and heating them some...to no avail. I am hoping that with your experience, you can advise me on how to make them more eatable. ( I bought quite a bit and would hate to waste them!!

they don't have teeth.. its how the eat..

Yea...but....thet dont seem able to get it down...they spit it out a couple of times, and then give up... Am I doing something wrong????Kris

try cutting it into smaller pieces, should work

I feed at least 3 times a day. most of them frozen. but I've put some corydoras and ancistrus SP. to take care for the uneaten food.
