I guess it is not a real huge problem but I have noticed the new heaters with digital control keeps resetting on me. Twice now the power at my house has flickered and the heaters resets to 79 degrees. I am keeping the tank at 84 and both times I caught it when I seen the tank temp was at 79 not 84. Not sure if I care to much doing a yoyo with the tank temp.

When the power goes off or they are unplugged, they reset to 79 I believe

Not a good heater if your power flickers
The ole twist top would be better

How big is yours? I may have a good trade for you

I like the via aqua heaters

Sean, you still have the instructions? Seems there should be a way to have it remember the temp.

Mine doesn't have a problem remembering the temp. When the power goes it, it always comes back on at 84, though it does flip to celsius instead of farenheit. LOL

My problem is that the heater itself died exactly one year after I bought it.

Did you do anything to get it to hold the temp you set?
