How Many Grown Discus Fit In A 37G And What Else Can I Put In With Them. Then How Do I Even Start Up A Discus Tank.

Discus are a social fish and it is recommended that you keep no less than 5 o 6 together. The general rule is 1 adult discus per 10 gallons. A 37 gallon tank is really not suitable for adult discus unless you have a proven pair.

I Dont UnderStand. You Said 10G For Each Adult Discus. So Why Not Just Get 2 Random Ones?

I think you can give four juvies a shot but not sure when they are fully grown if a 37 will be big enough. I currently have 4 in my 40 gallon and they're doing fine. Ive only had them for one and a half month but they are growing well. They only thing is i would probably go bare bottom and with driftwood. I had to take a lot of my gravel out and now have a very thin layer(one high) which makes it a lot easier to clean now. The only thing i wish i wouldve done was ORDER FROM A SPONSOR. Mine were from a lfs that we ordered online and they came in a little stunted. Not too bad though. But I think i will have to upgrade to a 55 gallon soon.

they do better in groups of 5-6 minimum.. or a proven pair.

get an adult pair or u will have agression issues that stress out/slowly kill the weakeer ones or bigger tank with more discus to spread the agression hth
