I do not know how to aquascape very well, so I am very bad at planting, hard scaping, ect.. My tank doesn't really have a set pattern, but i think it will grow in ok. Here is the tank over all.

Now here is some sort of standing driftwood piece I found. I tried to think how a discus would think and give them something tall to hide behind. let me know if you guys think a discus would like this!

Id be happy. hahaha did you just find it? is it clean? could be leaching a lot of bacteria into your tank.

PROBLEMS..

1. if you have Pigeon Blood BASED fish.. they will/probably get peppered very quickly.. due to dark substrate.. also blue diamonds and others will tend to get a darker color..

2. you have fish in there so you will need to QT ANY fish BEFORE you dump them in there..

3.. that substrate.. looks VERY thick.. anarobic bacteria pockets can be grow there.. and if you distrub the substrate, ie clean gravel..< you could release a pocket of ammonia that could damage your Discus..

4. have you tested the rocks to make sure they don't mess with the PH.. ?

5. if you get any discus.. make they are at least 5".. if you try to grow out discus less then 4" in there.. i could cause lots of problems.. due to amount of food that is required.. even with WC.. that substarte will hold nastys..

+1 to all the above as mentioned by my good friend Skip...but wanted to add that the power head seems to have a strong current as noted by the Val plants leaning over to one side in the first pic. Discus do not like strong currents.
