Who feeds the Fish?

Does it matter who feeds the fish? does it have to be one person or different people?
* I feed the fish in the morning before I go to work
* My wife feeds them around 12:30 PM
* My son feeds them around 5 PM
* I feed them at night before I sleep

Some claim that Discus fish 'recognise' their owners, but to answer your question I personally don't think it matters. The most important factor is knowing how much to feed and taking precautions by making sure the feeder's hand are clean and free of substances such as cleaning detergents.

No matter. I portion out amount of food I want to be fed and my family does the rest.

The fish doesn't care who feeds them, they care more about the food.

I don't think it matters who feeds them. I have heard that they need to be fed 3 times a day for the 1st 18 months, so maybe small meals by all is sufficient.
