I've had this wood for about a year. I recently pull it from my 75g and power washed. Since then it keeps developing this fuzzy looking slim. I do water changes twice a week (50%). Not sure what's causing this. Any suggestions?

I believe it happens to all types of hard wood used as driftwood in aquariums. If you have plecos they will love it and eat it quite fast, if not it will just go away on its own. Like "strungout" said it is harmless. HTH

I dont know but it always seems to come back in my tank, I put some anubias on the driftwood and that cr@p grew all over the roots! It is worrying me, I hope it doesnt kill my anubias.

It wont hurt anything. I believe its a kind of fungus that leeches from wood. Idk if it goes away after a while or if it will keep coming back but my Ironwood has a lot of it coming out. Its not pretty D:
