I'm going to try my hand at breeding! The unexpected pair I received from Kenny have shacked up in a 36 gal bowfront. Right now it has an established Eheim Pro canister and a brand new small sponge filter. I did put a breeding slate in there for them just in case, but a few of Barb's cones are on the way.

They look as if they're currently unimpressed with the new digs. They're swimming around happily, but it looks as if all spawning behavior (shimmying/shaking, picking/cleaning a spot, etc.) has stopped for now. I'm wondering if it has to do with the fact that the bottom is not covered? I'm hoping to get a piece of construction paper or something slid under there soon.

Anyways here is the pair! Thanks Kenny!
