Took two days but they finally started eating. Took them a while to start settling in. Was starting to get a little worried. I did put a divider in the tank, they were chasing each other all around the tank. Maybe after a couple of weeks i will try taking the divider out again. Boy when fish don't eat I have allot of vacuuming to do lol;)

I just picked up 9 5-inchers from Hans. They've been taking their time accepting my food, but now they're taking the beef heart flake from an autofeeder during the day, and are now taking my beef heart/salmon mix when I get home from work. Still just nibbling on Al's fdbws, tho. But they're getting acclimated. I picked them up 5 days ago.

I have 5 Hans adult fish. 1 of them didn't eat for almost 2 months after arriving. I though it was hopeless.

There is a secret to Hans's fish. You have to talk to them. I am crazy and talk to all of my fish (talk to my plants too). My adult male ate the 2nd day home, female took about 3 or 4 days. Or maybe I just got lucky lol. They were both eating out of my hands in less than a week.

hmmm... my rocky mountain discus started to eat in 3 days... kennys discus ate the next day. I wonder what makes some discus settle faster than others?
