I have been wanting some Alex Piwowarski Red Turquoise discus from the instant I first saw pictures of them.

I contacted Alex P. directly but I'm just a small hobby guy, and importing some from Germany was just more than I could pull off.... however, thanks to Kraig Koontz (http://www.kingdomcomediscus.com/) I now have some on the way...

Those are nice fish in the video. Alex piwow RT are very beautiful indeed. To fully develop and be able to see their turq color, continued lines, and halo it takes a good amount of time. All of those turqs in your video/pics are JUMBO - very mature fish. Wish alex was selling some of those.

Grow them up good! Piwowarski Turqs are THE best RT's on the market hands down.

VERY, very nice. However, I am growing out some watanabe turqs that might just give you a run for your money.

RickHey lets start a separate thread and have a best Turq contest! I have several very nice one's out of the Stendeker leopard fry I'm raising.Their only 8 months though so they have a ways to go yet. Back on topic I have always loved the halo's on those Piwow's beautiful fish!

Lets see some pictures of the watanabe turks (rather than the crappy videos!)
They look to have bright colors as well

Here are some of mine
One pair in this tank, some others in the back rooms

What a stunning fishes.I appreciate wild discusfish more but when I see those fish.........;)These fishes have the perfect shape and colours.I also think they look better then the Stendkers.Tony Tans have maybe as much colour but they are less thick.
