I have a pair in my showtank with fresh freeswimmers. Headcount is under 20, but the parents are doing wonderfull job. Itīs their 3rd spawning.
Male is someking of red melon and female blue turqoise or something. Allmost similar to my avatar. So i kinda dislike this color mix.

Other female in tank is flirting to this breeding male. Im quite sure its female because she has breeding tube on sight and shes getting some belly. Male is kinda interested, but he cant focus on 2 females. So she flirts with male and cleans possible spawn sigts alone =( Shes someking of pigeonblood and i would like her more with this male.

I need to move my tank sunday, because im getting bigger1. Should i try to remove female with free swimmers to breeding tank and leave male, so he maybe could pair with this pigeon lady aswell? Im not sure if i can move this tank with water in it, so whats the best way to catch the fry? I think i have 1 very small nett. Would that work?

I know this fry will probably die anyways, cause its only 3rd spawning, but they are my 1st discus frys and i really dont want to be thet reason they vanish. =D

They ate all fry. They are cleaning spawning spot at the moment =P

Yes they will kill the fry when they have small spawns. They will spawn back in 6/10 days. Small spawns happen when there young or you water is to hard. To increase your spawn you can cut your water with RO water start AT 50%, feed ALs freeze dryed black worms and get them there own tank. Jerry

Sounds like both of your females are pigeon based. They won't be a good match with the turq. The fry will be heavily peppered.

Im not worried about the ammount of fry since they are young fish. They spawned only around 50 eggs is that normal at start?
