Anybody know if the wood from PC1 still needs to be treated? Im assuming it does but just wasnt sure...

Im assuming it does but just wasnt sure...I'm not sure what you mean by treated.He has a thread that shows how he cleans them up,and when I got mine,I let it soak in a 55gal barrel I had for around 3 weeks,changed the water once a week.74055

His wood are tank ready. I got mines from him let it soak in a barrow for a week or until the water is no longer brown. Here's the piece I got.

Perfect thanks Bill, suppose I could have checked his sponsor section and found out, was just wondering if they were cleaned prior to shipping primarily, I obviously didnt expect them to be soaked yet.

tom barr (barreport.com, plantbrain over on plantedtank.net) has really nice unique gnarled pieces (as opposed to the smooth stuff). He posts pics of each piece and you pay on receipt of the wood which is unusual these days.

is this PC1?I dont know but thats how PC1 presents them,powerwashes them and takes a pic with a yardstick in front.

that's what I thought! 'was VERY pleased - fantastic piece of manzanita! shipping was a bit slow, but well worth the wait.
