What do you guys think of my changes to my 65 gallon Discus tank? Picture isn't the greatest as it's taken with my camera phone.

I do not like to suggest to people to spend money but I think the opinion on SD is if it is not a breeding pair, Discus do better in groups of six or more.

Its not really just the opinion on SD

Drew, I do not really know either way personally. That is why I said the opinion on SD is 6 or more. You could very well be correct.

6 + is better it will spread out the bullying and they feel safer in a group .

Folks..and Discus friends... the subject is the tank, and plants and display.. which IMO, and in lieu of offending anyone, is neatly done.
I too have thought about potting the plants, if I go to live plants. Nicely done.. good photos too.

Thanks guys, I actually have four discus in my tank now and plan on keeping it at that as they are getting along with each other and eats well. Thanks [Floppy Fin's] for redirecting the focus back on the tank setup and not the number of Discus... lol

Hi and your welcome.. as in most forums, the intent to be helpful as per the "fish numbers quotes" takes the color out of the photo's per se... :-) Its almost like trying to put emphasis on the fish photos, and you get analysis of the plants in the back ground.
Or lack of plants. Distracting away from the fish themselves. The whole thread gets derailed.
Cheers..
