Romann, the eggs are not dark looking? Sounds like the male do not do his job.

I have had two females laid together and eat the eggs the next day. Not sure about all the rest. So you have a proven male. Just seems from your description that the eggs were not fertile.

Not much else works. How close are you to one of our sponsors Angelfish USA in Florida. i would get a couple of his BBS kits.
http://www.angelfishusa.net/shopexd.asp?id=214 And use them in rotation.

if I dont have bbs what else can I feed the fry?

Congratulations.

You can buy brineshrimp eggs at http://www.brineshrimpdirect.com/

you can make your own brine shrimp hatchery.

I use them for many years and worth it.

It's very normal for pairs to go off food when guarding wigglers...relax, continue to maintain good quality and see what happens. Just put a little food in each day if parents don't eat siphon it out. Hardest part is coming up- attachment of fry. You get past that point you have 5-7 days to practice hatching BBS so they are ready to be fed to baby discus.

I have seen it both ways, some parents become absolute pigs and others won't eat for 2-3 weeks. I myself prefer to start feeding BBS in small amounts on day 4, and by day 7 they are completely on it.

How many wrigglers did you have? If there weren't many, the parents won't want to bother and will prefer to try again.
