advise neded on plants

What is the best plant to put in a high temp. discus aquarium, keeping in mind that my thumb is NOT green!!! Because my lighting is geared to bring out the color of my fish, Im not sure that I can grow a plant at all!!! I dont mind changing the lighting, however, Im not sure about what plant or light I need!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!:confused:

Amazon Swords do well, Italian Vals thrive in a high temp tank (or at least they do in mine, lol). And they grow to the top of your water line and can creat a nice thick forest in your tank.
