Hans Does it Again!

I received my pair of Stendker Dark Angels today from Hans and they are simply beautiful.

Great job Hans all the way around!!

With the extremely limited Dark Angels in the US, I hope I can have some successful spawns from this pair.

So, I have a question, Im colorblind believe it or not, not completely but enough that it can be hard at times... Ive looked at numerous pictures of Dark Angels and I just cant really tell what color it is, it looks almost like a greyish pink color? Id appreciate someone clarifying that has them as Im looking at ordering some as well in the future. And just to confirm the dark angel is another pigeon base fish correct?

Dark Angle is Pigion Based....the pepper is blue instead of black though. The base fish is a pinkish color...more purple than pink. At least that's what i saw from the one that was at the NADA 2012 show that Hans sent.

Hmmm I've heard they can be incredible for a pigeon breeding program which is what i'm focusing on so I think its time to start looking at some.

My LFS has several large (5+in) Dark Angels they got from Hans and they look amazing. Cambik described it very well - the dark color is deep navy blue to purple and the light part ranges from pink to gray. Photos just do not capture the colors at all. I was not a big fan of this strain when I first saw them on Hans website, but seeing them in person makes all the difference.
