I am a newbi at discus and have a 120 gallon dual sump tank that I had set up for saltwater. My sump tank is 40 gallons. I am in the process of getting T5 lighting for my tank. I have 12 really easy plants for beginners, or so i'm told, I have 6 rummynose tetras, 5 konga tetras, 5 dwarf rainbows, 3 rasboras, 4 dwarf Inca cichlids and one dwarf pleco with a fuzzy nose.
Right at this time I have no discus in my tank, yet!
I am going to be purchasing some more plants and some galaxy tetras.
My question is with having the sumps do I have to run CO2 or air bubblers in the aquarium to produce more oxygen. Nobody talks about freshwater and sumps, and its really hard to find out info on the internet. Sump systems are recomended for marine but not tropical. Open to all ideas and comments.
Thanks

If you search "Sumps" on this site you will find over 300 threads with sump mentioned. It's a lot of reading. The search function is on the top right just under the Simply Discus headline.
