grow out tank ????

Going to use a 55gal BB to do my grow out then switch to my 75gal show tank. My question is how do I do the switch? (sorry if this sounds dumb just want to do it right) Do I just cycle the 75 like normal and move them in or can I use the same filter and move it to the 75 gal???? Any tips would be great...The filter I am using is 305 fluval and a penguin Bio wheel in the 75 and maybe a sponge for the 55 grow out tank.

Using old filter can help you jump start the cycling, but it isn't fully cycled.

Use the same filter,or put an additional filter on the 55 and move it,leaving you with two tanks going.Split the media between the old filter and a new.Or throw in a couple of sponges in the 55 and move them into 75.

Well I have never done it this way before but going to do fish less cyle.

This is the bes way to do it. JMO
