74428These past 2 weeks I've been kicked into the deep end as far as breeding/fry.Three pairs laid in three days of each other. My melon pair decided to lay again while still having free swimmers. After a bunch of back and forth with John Nicholson, and the help of a day off and 4 20h's from the PetCo sale, decided to move them.Maybe a week old.I remember when I bought some penang eruptions and they were dime size and I'm like"D@mn thet're small".Now I'd consider it a succes if I get these guy's to dime size.74429

Yes they are small even at dime size. Good luck Bill, sounds like you are on the right path. Fry will humble you in a heartbeat.

Thanks, everyone. Was able to move the parents into a 20H,and they did thier magic again, and so far they look to be doing better at attachment. They have the fry in a corner, and kinda block them in,so they run into the parents when when they swim off.7463574636

Nice, they are growing well. Will you be selling these when they get to quarter size? That is the plan.Seeing as how this is the first and rather small, going to start culling and grow out the rest. But two others hopefully on the way and I have a spawn of rose red crosses about a week older.
