if you care to explain then go ahead. I have 10 discus, 2 or 3 are tuning black. my water is clean (90% changes daily through a carbon and sediment filter) and i am thinking on getting an RO/DI and use it for my water changes.
pH 6.8, tem 85-86F, lots of air, plants and Prime. what else can the guis want!?

you should fill out the disease questionnaire, if you have not done so already.

I use RO, but not DI. so I can't vote yes or no.
but I use RO because my well water is HORRID. TDS of 800 or so, full FULL of irons, etc. and I have a whole house softening system which wasn't good for the fish.

There is absolutely no reason for you to go RO. 6.8 PH is not any issue at all. If your discus are having issues it isn't because you need RO. Fill out the questionnaire.
