Piwow rt nose down

Well ive had my piwow juvies for a little over a week now, and one is swimming in place with its nose down and wagging. Im assuming its a swim blatter issue and probably nothing i can do for him. Dont want to lose it but im thinking he wont make it.

what were you feeding them?

is it bloated in the belly?

No bloating and they are getting fdbw and tetra bits.

try 2 tablespoons epson salt per 10 gallons.. if it don't clear up with in the day.. its something else.. can you post video.. that would help alot!

Just got back from walgreens didnt have any epsom salt around the house. Will get a video up in a few minutes.

well any other way to upload a video besides photobucket, it keeps saying my password is wrong and i have tried to reset it at least 5 different times and same issue. i have drained the tank (29g) to a little more than half and treated with epsom salt.

after about an hour he looks like hes doing better not completely on his nose just a slight angle now and swimming around more. still has a wiggle to his movements. im going to keep the water level down, have to go to work so keeping my fingers crossed that when i get home tonight he will have made good progress.

Wooooo, i hope im in the clear got home from work and he seems to be swimming normal again. I will watch him over the next few days, hopefully he is fine because i waited too long to finally come accross the fish i wanted.

Awwwww, poor little guy was constipated. LOL Glad to hear that he's making a good recovery! =)

Try adding some brine shrimp it the diet, will help with the constipation, good roughage. I have one pb that tends to get backed up myself. It gorges itself on fdbw.

Thats exactly what mine do, it scared the crap out of me i woke up in the morning to him headstanding. Luckely he recovered just fine i will try the BS i have some in the freezer.
