My discus is spawning but i want to introduce a different male ,is it possible

now My female discus is paired with a male which is not that good ,so as female is spawning .so is there any chance to change her mate & introduce new male .if possible how to do it .how long will this spawing season of discus last .i want to introduce new male in this season

My fish seem to have about a two week cycle. If its spawning currently, then no I doubt you can switch them out and get a viable spawn right then. After the cycle just switch out the males, its possible to do. Not sure that there is any proper way to do it, I personally just switch them out and watch to make sure they can work out their differences or its love at first sight.
