Selecting Discus please help!!!!

Hi, does anyone have a picture with a perfect gill plate and a picture with a bad gill plate that bigger than the one in "Selecting Discus's Thread". Thank you..............

See if this helps, the first picture is of a fish with a short gill plate. Note the fleshy looking tissue around the edge of the gill plate.

This picture isn't as clear, but hope it helps. See the nice clean line where the gill plate edge meets the body? It's easier to make a good determination looking directly from the side, as if you look from the tail forward and the gill is open it may appear to have a short gill plate when it doesn't.
